@winniebee: Funny how different perspectives can be. I gained 44 pounds on my 5'0" frame, and still have about 15 to lose, too, but I seriously feel pretty. I don't fit my old skinny pants, but I fit my old fat pants. Still--for once in my life, I feel like I have a good reason for being the shape I am, so I am finally comfortable in my "too-big" worn-in body with a jiggly, wrinkly, stretch-marked tummy.
@Mrsdaredevil: Sure did earn it, mama!
@sandy: Good to hear. And I am looking forward to my new muscular arms from carrying my giant LO. :)

It's weird to have one body for almost 30 years and then have a different one! My weight got down to my pre-preg weight after a couple months but it was a different body that took getting used to.

Now it's over a year after I gave birth and I don't have anything to complain about, - I'm less than I was pre-preg, but i think that was just because I was really muscular pre-preg - I am way more curvy now. So it's nice, but different, takes some getting used to.

@mrsdaredevil good for you!! i wish i had your confidence!
im 9 weeks pp and have 10 lbs. to go, plus everything is flabby! blah! It's discouraging not fitting into pre-pregnancy clothes at this point. But, I was pretty thin pre-preg, and my hubby actually likes the new more vuloptous curves and definitely chest! Boobs are still up 3 sizes!

@krsmall: @winniebee: Give it time girls! I gained about 50 pounds during my pregnancy and I am 5'0" and weighed under 110 prepregnancy and wore size 0-2. My belly skin took a long time to retract even though I was under my prepregnancy weight at around 3 months (thanks to breastfeeding).

I can't wait until I'm done with breastfeeding and really hope my perky boobs return but I am really loving my prepregnancy arms...they are so strong and toned from carrying LO around.

I'm 5.5 months postpartum and I feel ok with my body for the most part... until I see a picture of myself in a bikini. HAHA!

I can't really complain because my belly is pretty flat. I just need to tone up around my hips and I'll feel much better about myself.

@Mrsdaredevil: Good for you for thinking like that. I wish I could get myself into that mindset.

3 months postpartum and I hate it. I was so huge that my skin is stupid stretched out, i have ridiculous stretch marks, probably 15lbs left to lose, my boobs are all floppy and weird now... I'm not a fan. I miss my perky boobs and skin that didn't look like a road map.

Ugh... I'm 3lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight (to be fair I usually fluctuate 3-4lbs anyways before and after) but I'm flabby.
I've always been petite, flat tummy, firm butt... Not now. I'm hating my body, and really not trying hard enough to tighten up. 9 months of waking 2+ times a night makes waking early to workout hard to do.

I'm not very happy. It doesn't help that I am extremely bloated today :(. I have 15 lbs to lose until I am thrilled. I'll take 10 lbs at this point. It hasn't budged in forever.

Fat! 7w pp and I still have 13 lbs to lose. I've always been thin and petite an have had a flat tummy. Not used to looking chubby. I was on bedrest for 7w in pregnancy so I gained 30 lbs which was a lot for my 5-2 / size 2 frame.

I am not a fan. I'm 4 weeks pp and I still can't fit into my pre pregnancy clothes. I was a 2 pre pregnancy and I'm now an 8 because of my belly. I've never had a belly so it's weird.

I feel like crap. I've never been this heavy before in my life, all I see is arm-chub, stomach-chub, etc. My goal is to be back at pre-pregnancy weight by the end of maternity leave; I'm not going to let this new body stick around!

3 weeks pp and I'm not a fan. Everything has dropped down to my hips and butt. I have never in my life had hips and butt fat. Also, I have these ginormous love handles. I wouldn't mind the butt and thighs if the love handles weren't there. I don't like being naked anymore. :( I used to love walking around naked. I know those handles will take a lot of work to get rid of, that makes me sad.

I'm eating quite well now - I think my body is craving what I need and so I'm craving salads and meats. I'm hoping not eating out and continuing to eat healthy will be a good start to losing some of this weird new body.

I have no idea what I weigh.

I don't feel that great but I'm 3 weeks pp. I've lost 35 lbs and I weigh less than I did pre-pregnancy but I look like I have 20 lbs to lose to look like "me" again. Hopefully working out will help but I'll at least start going on walks when I reach 4 weeks pp then by 6 weeks I'll get back to the gym.

You would think that 7 weeks after having a baby I would hate my new body, but I have never felt more comfortable and confident in my whole life!

I definitely look a lot different than the ripped specimen I was before getting pregnant, but for some reason I feel GREAT! Maybe it's because my priorities have changed?

How do you feel about your bod post baby?
