Then we started ttc and it took longer than I would have liked, so those announcements stung. After lo was born I was excited and then after MC and ttc #2 I was bitter with the sudden baby boom around us, but now I'm indifferent. All of the past few have been accidents or happened easily and we've been struggling to TTC since April :sad: I get over it pretty quickly and are of course happy for our friends and family but it still stings every time. It was even harder then because I would be thinking, I'd be X weeks along now if I was still pregnant. I'm still happy for them though. When I first started TTC when my friends announced I thought "Oooh, we'll be pregnant together and go on mat leave together!" Then the longer it went and the deeper I got into fertility treatments, the sadder and more bitter I got about it. Once I got pregnant and had my son I was excited for my friends again, although I still felt a pang of "It's not fair that I never got to get pregnant easily, and probably don't get to decide if I want another baby." Those feelings were intensifying as my son got older and I got to the point that I would have liked to get pregnant again if I weren't infertile when I (shockingly) got pregnant again.
