That's the easiest way to find a midwife if you know where you will be delivering. However, I got laid-off, found a new job, but have to relocate to Massachusetts :( My midwives were great though and said while I should stay with them as long as possible, when the time comes to go to the following website. It's run by the American College of Nurse Midwives and was very comprehensive and helpful (at least for my hunt in MA). My insurance website lists a few individually but I am realizing they cover others who work in the office with OBs but they aren't listed separately. Googling my city and state with midwife thrown in is getting me no where fast! Even finding the names of the practices is a royal pain! </p>
