Freezing is fine. The article states that all if the good stuff is still there, but it just is in a different form. Like two different houses have the same purpose but are built differently. But I think the OP was talking more about unfrozen milk, in which case there would be no damage from freezing yet. I was actually wondering if I was doing something bad to the milk by running the warm water on it for a few minutes, but it sounds like everyone else does too. It doesn't totally incorporate into the milk, but gets off the side of the bottle enough. There are usually one or two spots left that annoy me. It's hard to avoid leaving some behind when I transfer to bags. I swirl it back together before I transfer to bags, but sometimes I'm upset because I feel like there is a lot left.
