Want to know what worked ? This smoothie ! I put the medicine in a little bowl/cup, added the smoothie, and let him drink it with a straw. He drank it all. She is amazing. I tell her I need to take her home with me. She tells me my son is playing games with me &amp; my husband b/c he behaves with her..... great, huh ? At nights though I cannot get the medicine into my son's body. I'd rather not do the forcing thing as he just looks and acts like he's being tortured and then ends up coughing violently. You can also tuck his legs under my husband's legs when needed but my son is weird and likes laying down to take medicine this way. He'll protest when he sees us filling the syringe but he'll wander over to an open spot on the floor (while crying) and lay down all by himself and wait. He sucks on the end and I push it in. The only other way I can think of is to tilt him back and squirt it in way in the back on one side. Then blow in his face and he will automatically swallow. I'd just do a little at a time, though. My son (22 months) knows when I mix it in food, he can taste it. He is on antibiotics but I can't even get him to take his doses ! I have tried forcing it, he just spits it out and screams bloody murder, applesauce, yogurt, marinara sauce... Nothing had worked . I want to scream. No , he will not take it if I let him do it. </p>
