I usually say excuse me, that's not a nice way to talk or it hurts my feelings when you talk to me like that. We say "x" (to model appropriate thing to say.) Can you try again? I also giver her lots of praise when she is polite without prompting, which definitely has worked for us. My 2.5 year old is suddenly getting very sassy and sometimes borderline rude. 8 when she acts that way I role play nicer ways to say things, have her say please, etc. But I am wondering if there is something more I should be doing? Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions! </p>
