Honestly she didn't take to the first one we tried but my grandma bought her one not knowing we had one and she ended up loving her bunny lovey. When we were giving her a bottle before nap or bedtime we would wrap her arm around the lovey while she drank her bottle and when we laid her in her crib (at this point she was sleeping mainly on her side) we would wrap the other arm around the lovey as well. So a few weeks before I wanted to get rid of the paci, I put the lovey in the crib with her. She didn't care for it but got used to the sight of it I guess. And then when we got rid of the paci cold turkey, she went right for the lovey!
