we dropped the sleep sacks last night because it was 77 in her room. and it wasn't even hot the last two days! so we're gonna go with the overhead fan, windows open and dressing her down to diaper when needed.

C's room is really warm, too. I have him in a sleep sack with just a diaper. We keep the ceiling fan running all night, too.

Ugh, we have the same situation. In the winter we used a space heater at a low setting to make sure it didn't get too cold in there. The setting sun beams right into his room. We have blackout curtains but its gets super hot, like over 80 degrees! :(
I'm thinking of getting one of these for summer:

We have a cool mist humidifier - it's the Vicks one with a star projector built into it. Even when I have it on low, the fan level cools the room down a bit. I also went through the house and messed with our vents a bit to help with the extreme temperature fluctuations in our third bedroom (it was like that - always the coldest or hottest.) I closed the vent in the hall right outside his room, and partially closed a couple of others in the rooms that were the largest and never gave us any temp issues. It helped a lot!

Of course, DS' room is the coldest room during the winter and the hottest during the summer. :\

We've got him in his spring pjs (t and long bottoms), with the window cracked open and ceiling fan going, still around 76* :(
