And there are less expensive models as well (it also works on carpet!)</p> <p>Then I mop with the swiffer once a week (I use the hard wood floors solution).<br /> I follow it up with Murphy oil every other week maybe? Do that when your dogs are outside. My cat steps in the oil then hops on the couch so I want to kick her behind! I always mop when she's asleep :)<br /> We have the Shark but it made my hard wood floors cloudy! And if you read reviews, I'm not the only one. Daily I sweep and use a microfibre swiffer. Sweeping gets the big stuff that LO drops and the swiffer catches all the dog hair. On full floor wash days after the try swiffer I get out the steam mop to clean all the dirt, spots and stains. After that dries we use a pledge floor polish.
