I was actually going to suggest a bath while I was reading. I always do a long bath (and sometimes more than one in a day) when M is sick and crabby. It's the only thing that helps her. I also usually give Motrin for discomfort even if she doesn't have a fever, but if they're throwing up then maybe that's not the best idea. Hope they feel better soon!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: @coopsmama: Thanks ladies. It's just awful seeing your kids so uncomfortable and sad. I ended up calling the nurse line and getting instructions for pedialyte if it comes to that. Blake vomited again so I'm a little nervous. He did nurse a little since and has kept it down.

Oh no!! :( So sorry that you all have a stomach bug. I actually don't have much experience with this with my kids but wanted to say I hope it's very short lived!

When my DD1 had norovirus, it was so, so hard to see her vomiting. She would cry in fear every time she threw up because she had no idea what was happening. We ended up getting a prescription for baby Zofran (basically chewable anti nausea) and it helped a lot.

We also gave her just little syringe doses of pedialyte.

I hope your kiddos feel better! That sounds awful.

My 9 month olds seem to have caught the stomach bug I had yesterday. They are having frequent diarrhea and Blake has thrown up twice now. My usual go-to is nursing when they don't feel well, but neither are interested in eating much. They aren't running fevers, but are generally grouchy/restless. I can tell they are just uncomfortable and can't settle down. They don't want to rock, be held, be nursery, etc. Any tips for getting through this? I'm thinking of putting them in the bath, as they love bathtime.
