Depends on which diaper he has on. The Tots Bots have to be changed every 2 hours. The Flips are good for up to 4 hours.

Every 2 hours I'd do a check. When LO was a newborn, it was more like every hour.

I've been changing LO every 2 hours or if I hear poo. I do find it hard to tell when she's wet.

Same as most others, every two hours unless she poops. Luckily when know her poop face so we get those right away :)

Our diapers rarely leak and dont bother lo after 3-4 hours so I wait that long unless there is poop. I would imagine it depends on the diaper and how full they get. Maybe pay attention for a few days how long it takes before baby is uncomfortable or the diaper leaks and stick with that timeline. 2 hours is the standard for daycare (at least it used to be) but I definitely don't need to change lo that often.

My husband does this too even after 2.5 years of using them! I try to tell him that 2 hours is max. He thinks he 'just' changed her after two hours.

a safe bet is every 2 hours. That said, this is when we usually end of changing her:

- before a nap
- after a nap
- when we feel/hear her pooping
- if she us super fussy and nothing seems to help

Our LO naps every 1.5 hours generally. So we just check her diaper before and after every nap unless we hear her poop (and you DO hear when she does lol) or if she seems fussy for no reason we can figure-- then we check again. If she napped less I guess I'd just check every 2 hrs or so?

Since I spend most my time with LO, I know when he needs a diaper change or close to it. However, when my husband gets home he doesn't know when to change him. It ends up that he goes to long and leaks through the cloth diapers. Is there a good way to tell my husband how to check for when the cloth diapers are wet?
