<description>&#60;p&#62;I have to exercise and preferably a group exercise class where the instructor tells me what to do. I don't think about it and just do what they say! ;) Spin classes are my favorite. I also track calories, measure everything I eat with my kitchen scale, and drink as much water as possible.

&#60;p&#62;For me, it's exercise because it motivates me mentally.  When I exercise, I don't want to eat bad because I don't want all my &#34;work&#34; to go to waste, and it becomes this wonderful cycle of healthy living... so I usually focus on getting myself to exercise first and then the healthy eating falls into place.  I am naturally a pretty healthy eater though, so that part isn't too big of a struggle for me.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I don't count calories, but do focus on eating a protein and veggie heavy diet.  It's also high in (healthy) fat too.  I also drink a lot of broth based soups - it's such a filler for me, and I love soups!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;For exercise - I'm all about quick efficient workouts... so high-intensity cardio + toning, like Insanity DVD's!  Wearing a heart rate monitor does wonders for my motivation.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Eta: While diet alone is great for weight loss, the weight lost is often water + muscle.  So every time weight is gained then lost again by diet alone, it gets harder to lose since you're constantly losing muscle instead of maintaining it.  Exercise combined with diet helps maintain muscle mass while still contributing to weight loss.

<description>&#60;p&#62;For me I have to change my diet. I can exercise until the cows come home and it usually has very little effect on my weight unless I change my diet. I have to stick to lean proteins and veggies and calorie count... and omit alcohol.  :shocked:  :crying: &#60;/p&#62;
