We prefer to change LO in the car, but if need be I'll use disposable changing pads on top of the bathroom changing table to throw away afterward.

If the bathroom doesn't have a changing table we'll just use the stroller (reclined all the way back) or change him in the car. Usually we change him in the car since it's easier that way.

I've never had to go to the bathroom when I'm alone with her yet... or I'd just hold it. If the place doesn't have a changing table I'll usually just go outside and change her in her stroller. I take the infant seat out and lay her down. Or if I'm with someone I'll change her in the trunk. You got to do what you got to do!

My toddler won't sit in the stroller anymore so she just needs to stand. And I can change her while she stands which is better than getting on a dirty changing table.

Hahaha. All of the bathrooms we've been to have changing tables! I think if we needed to change LO and there was no table we'd either change her in the car or .. we've actually changed her at our table before (booth). :P She's still little (10 months old).

i'm finding this to be tricky these days with a mobile toddler. when he's in the stroller i usually try to get the larger stall and bring him in with me, but otherwise it's difficult.

last night we did the weirdest scenario at a restaurant. we had to change LO's diaper but there was no changing table, so we went into the unisex bathroom (a one-room one) together. it contained a sit down toilet, urinal and sink. we stood LO at the sink to change his diaper, then while i used the toilet, the husband used the urinal, while holding LO under his arm like a football. i'm just glad no one walked in on this scene...even LO seemed confused by it.

how do you wrangle your LO in a public bathroom?
