I didn't eat much. I ended up loosing 5 pounds in the first trimester. Whenever anything sounded good I ate it. I mostly ate oyster crackers, pasta roni, and strawberries.

Bagel bites, Cheetos, pickles, Caesar salad.

Have to eat snacks all day including the second I open my eyes. If I get hungry I get nauseous.

Just nibble constantly on whatever you can keep down. The baby is going to siphon off whatever it needs from your body's own stores, so its just a matter of keeping yourself going. Try getting a Jamba Juice smoothie - something cold and nutritious and substantial - and keep some crackers or bread around. Crystallized ginger slices helped sometimes with the nausea too.

I ate a lot of white rice and cereal when I was pregnant. I ended up losing like, 15 lbs during my first trimester. But then I gained it all back when I felt better 2nd tri and ate everything in sight.

Honestly? I haven't managed to eat. I'm barely scraping by. What has worked for me: Popsicles, String Cheese, PB&J, Mozzarella Sticks, Pizza (only on occasion), Pop Tarts, Muffins, Smoothies.

And that's it. Not very healthy, huh?

@artsyfartsy: Don't cook anything that smells strongly of anything--or that takes more than 10 minutes of cooking time. Eat fast. Small portions. Leave the room after.
That's all I could do in first tri. :(

I ate a lot of random foods - whatever I could shove in. Pop tarts and bagel bites and carnation instant breakfast. I went back to all of my childhood favorites. Hang in there

Smoothies and Greek yogurt are, for me, pretty easy to get down.

@FaithFertility: @snowjewelz: @jhd: It was never this bad with my first pregnancy. I had some food aversions before today but always managed to eat something substantial. Ugh

I just ate whatever I could in those early weeks. Not healthy at all, by some days it was potato chips or vanilla wafers.

Yeah, just eat what you can. It was so hard, b/c DH would ask me what I want to eat, but I always told him I don't know whether I want to eat that until I'm there and it's in front of me! I just ate a lot of bland carbs. Hang in there!

:( this was me with DD! In the beginning I just ate what I could when I could!

Now I seem to be ok but definitely have adversions mostly and can only eat small meals

Im 6 weeks and I haven't eaten anything all day but half an apple and some chips. I feel hungry but whenever I get up to go make some food the thought of eating makes me nauseous. Haven't puked yet but I can't stomach food.

Currently have chicken in the crockpot for dinner and the smell is making me want to puke. I can't imagine touching it. Ugh.

Update: DH just moved the crockpot to the garage. 😂
