For Mavi, we didn't have much dresser space so everything was hung in order of age. This time around, PJs won't be hung. But onesies probably. I find you can see them better hung.

The only thing that I really do is keep the pajamas in the bathroom with the changing table.

The rest of my son's clothes are all in his room, in an armoire. I keep his current stuff folded and organized according to category (pants, shirts, socks) and then some things are hung.

We keep hand-me-downs in big garbage bags, sorted by size and season, in the closet. I don't really hang anything in the closet. He's got a 3 drawer dresser with two tall narrow drawers off to the side. Top drawer: changing stuff (Diapers, wipes, etc). Second drawer: shirts, sweaters, and pants. I only keep current season, current size in the drawers. Bottom drawer: pajamas and sleep sacks. Top side drawer: bibs and socks. Bottom side drawer: random stuff (extra bottles of shampoo, baby wash, etc).

I keep changing my system every few months. This is my latest with a 14 month old. In the closet, I have a top row of hanging dresses and jackets that she currently wears and then a second bottom row of the next size up. Bigger sizes and giveaway stuff are in bins at the bottom. Right next to the floor changing area, I have a big bottom drawer that I subdivided: pants, shirts, shorts, skirts and a few favorite go-to onesies. Then I have another little drawer of onesies that are kinda worn or backups but I'm not ready to give them up yet. I also have a little drawer of set outfits (tops I handpicked to match bottoms). So basically the drawers hold outfits, olds, onlies (singles). Hope this helps!! I've done her clothes a million times and keep thinking, there must be a better way. What a great problem to have though. Oh the joy of having a girl.

Onesies and pants are in the dresser organized by size. Once shes out of that size, they get moved to a bin in her closet. Dresses and jackets are hung up in the closet, also organized by size.

Every morning before I take her out of the crib I go get her outfit and put it by the changing table.

I totally expect it to turn into that based on the state of my drawers. But then again my husband is SUPER neat so we'll see. :)

@LivsMama:
haha baby's not here yet and I already have 18month clothing. Hey, that's how you get the best deals. Shopping a year/couple season ahead. :)

I don't. I literally throw her clothes into her dresser drawer. :P My mom organized LO's dresser while she was here last month. Trying me best to keep it organized!

We have drawer separators in the top dresser/changing table drawer with her headbands, shoes, socks, and rufflebutts/bloomers, nightime diapers, and medicines. Second drawer is stacks of short sleeve onesies, long sleeved onesies, stretch pants, "nice" pants, and jammies. Bottom drawer is crib sheets and swaddle blankets. Her closet is organized with size dividers in the various sizes from (then) newborn to 2T (yep, we have 2T stuff already and shes 8 months old.) And not only that, but its arranged by color. Im a little OCD about clothes arranging. I think because I was a DM for Abercrombie for so long, its engrained in me lol.

Right now NB and 0-3 are in a tote in our closet. All the other sizes are at the new house. I plan to keep everything in drawers (using IKEA seperators for tiny stuff). Drawers by size working down. "Outifts" in the closet. And much bigger sizes (I have stuff up to 18months - clearance!) in the spare closet in her room.

I'm pregnant with my first now, so I can only give second hand information. My godkids' mom kept basics in the top drawer of her changing table - the current size and the next size up (they were late spring babies, so those were all onesies) - along with diapers, wipes, and pacifiers. Things that weren't changed out often but still used often were in the bottom drawer - sock and pants and dresses. Bigger clothes were kept in a closet, bagged by size.

I have the clothes in clear totes right now and divided by size. The newborn, 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes are in the dresser/changing table. The others are staying in the tote for now. When we move into our new house, I'm hoping to organize the closet by size and have everything easily accessible so when she grows I won't need to search for the next size up. And I have everything pre-washed, so it's ready to go!

We have a TON of clothes already for our LO. I've been trying to figure out the best way to organize her clothes (she's not even here yet...) For now, I have placed all infant and 0-3 in the most reachable places. Everything else is organized by age below in the closet organizer or towards the back of the closet.

Do you keep specific pieces on or near your changing table for easy access?
