We have expedit also and put larger toys on top...he points when he wants us to get something down for him, like the zany zoo. Nice because it keeps everything off the floor, yet he can reach and get out what he wants from the baskets.

We use an IKEA expedit and put some odd shaped toys on the top. Other toys go against the wall.

Ds has a gated play room/area in our basement where we have the cube organizer like you and we leave out the big stuff like LP farm, ride on toys, zany zoo, etc. but I organize it in one corner at night. Then he destroys it all the next day.

Specifically larger ones like say a little people farm or dollhouse. We have a cube organizer with bins and a toy box. The toy box holds smaller things though. I'm stumped on what to do with larger/bulkier toys with accessories. I was thinking of having DH build shelves in her playroom closet but wanted to hear what you guys do. Currently if things don't fit in the cube organizer or toy box they lay around the room or get thrown in the closet, it drives me crazy!
