I use a large CD binder and file my coupons in alphabetical order based on the item categories I buy the most of. I get 4-6 Sunday papers each week and cut out the coupons so this holds them well and it's easy to plop into the shopping cart seat.

I arrange them by expiring dates and just keep them in a small white envelope in my purse.

I use the accordion file too and sort them by category but you're right, it's such a pain to keep track of expiration dates and such. Those albums are an awesome idea!!

@nycalimama yep they're little floppy ones - like this one: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-iaDJC_grRH8/T58Yn-yTTzI/AAAAAAAABdk/w4Rw5ckD8cc/s1600/DSC03051.JPG

@scg00387: oh photo albums! Nice idea... They fit in your purse too? I think I'm going to have to copy your idea! Yeah, I was thinking the binder may be a bit too overboard for me.

I use 2 $1-bin photo albums so I can flip through and see them but its easier than a binder. One is for food stuff and one is for non-food stuff :)

I've been using a mini accordion file I got at the dollar bins at Target. I also used to use something similar by Real Simple. But I think I might move to using a binder so I can see everything (especially expiration dates) all at once.
