Bento style, but not cute or artistic. Its not super thick plastic like a lot of other nice bento but its 2 pieces (container and lid) so its easy. I put an ice pack in the bottom, lunchbox on top, zip it up and done. The one we use for fruit eventually started molding under the blue band in the lid (see photo below) because of moisture. I tossed that one and now we're a lot more careful with the new one we're using. </p> <p>They are a great size, but I wish the lids were a little easier to clean.
