We pay them off every month unless there's some random big purchase that we want to pay off over a couple months, but that's pretty rare. We like to stock up points and then turn them in for cash! We can do that about 1-2 times a year and get a $250-$300 check. I was lucky nothing every happened to me, because several months after we got married and joined accounts and he made me start using the "Big Credit Card", I logged into our account one day and saw that we had a more ginormous than usual balance. After investigating, I saw where someone had gotten our card number and booked two flights for $1500 each! AND they even charged their carryon baggage fees to it! I was so pissed!
