@BabyBoecksMom: thanks!! Both girls are good with casual dresses! It's the frilly, fancy dresses that they complain about :silly:

@HLK208: Thanks for chiming in - I LOVE the outfits you put your family in <3. Do you have a hard time getting them to wear what you pick out? Or do you usually go for something they like?

I would probably put DD1 in a kind of casual patterned dress (something simple--not too busy) and then coordinate Dd2 with some colors that are in DD1's dress. So maybe a cardigan, shirt and neutral dress pants for DD2 (my daughter has some grey ponte pants that can be dressed up). And some ballet flats and a simple headband or bow for each!

My friend is doing a mini-session of my girls on Saturday. They wear uniforms all week for daycare, so I want to get them new outfits, but the problem is, they have completely opposite taste in clothes. My oldest (4 yrs) loves tutus and anything frilly, while my youngest (23 months) despises anything frilly (like, screams "NOOO" and throws it across the room - LOL)

How do you pick outfits for something special, like pictures (or Easter/Christmas)?
