Awesome thanks. It seems like I'm on the right track and there just arent many "toys" for this age.
I sang to him tonight, and will try to sing more.
Like I said, he loves the skip hop gym. I gave him a ball thing today similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Rhino-Toys-Original-Jellies-Colors/dp/B000IDOM5I/
He seems to like it.

At that age, I would read to, sing and talk to LO. She also loved her skip hop gym and I would have her do tummy time on there too. She would also rotate between her bouncy and swing. I would show her some times here and there but she didn't really play with them at that point.

Little M loved the skip hop animals at 2m too! I used to read to him a lot since he really liked to hear my voice. At 2m he also loved outward facing in the Moby wrap. I'd walk around showing him things and he was so happy about it. He could only handle it for 15 mins at a time - as soon as he yawned I'd take him out. Some mom more experienced than I told me that was a sign he was getting overstimulated. It was my trick to get him tired for a nap.

Our skip hop gym is his favorite - we also have a light up snail that talks if he hits it that is fun. We have two silicone teethers that are just the right size for him to grasp. But as previous posters said - lots of music and chattering!

Interaction is really the best thing! Lo started gettinig more interested in toys around 10/11 wks; before that, just showing him things and singing/talking to him was what I did.

M is two months and honestly her favorite thing is just when I sing and talk to her. She plays in her gym and likes the mobile on her swing but mommy's face/voice is still her favorite thing! She also just figured out how to roll from tummy to back so I make her do that trick a few times a day : )

So, little B is becoming quite the expert hitting the animals in his skip hop gym, but I feel bad that there's nothing else I have to play with him.

Does your 2 month old play with any toys? If so, what?
He hasnt quite grasped holding anything yet, besides my hair.
