My MIL always gets my birthday wrong. She gave me a card the day of my birthday and said "sorry this is early." And then texted me today, happy birthday. I just say thank you and move on. She messes it up every year. I feel like most of the time I would just say thank you and leave it at that. If the conversation continued like, "Doing anything fun for it tonight?"
