We had a very small bathroom and this set up took very little space and worked great. Also, those "flushable" liners are really not great for the sewer line unfortunately. Just put them in a regular trash can? I ask because we just found them (DS is 18 months and goes #2 5-6x a day!) and it makes changes so much quicker! Before that I would just scrape the diapers into the toilet. That is what we did with DD but she wasn't a super pooper like DS. Anyways so far I've been putting them in doggy bags and then the trash but the smell is still nasty. Am I missing something?</p> <p>Also- for the pet/diaper sprayer, does this replace scraping the diapers? Or do you scrape then spray? Ha I wonder what the neighbors think. We just faced this decision this past weekend, as LO is now eating enough solid food that her poop has changed consistency from EBF poop. I put up ISO posts on all my local parenting and Buy Nothing groups and within a few hours, three people had offered to sell me their diaper sprayers, and one person offered to give me hers for free. So I now have a free BumGenius diaper sprayer installed onto my toilet. Hooray! It seems to work great, though we've only used it on a couple of diapers so far. </p> <p>The part of it that seems inconvenient to me is that our bathroom counter isn't big enough to serve as a changing table, so, we will always have to finish up changing LO, put her in her crib or otherwise contain her, then carry the filthy diaper to the bathroom to spray it, then carry it back to the nursery to dump it into the pail. I've just been taking them out to the hose and rinsing them there but that's not going to work this winter, and honestly it's gross and not ideal to do it that way anyway, but I was desperate! </p> <p>How do you rinse out your LO's cloth diapers? I don't want to invest too much since she will probably be trained some time in the next 6-12 months. </p>
