DH is gone from 7 AM until 7:30 PM every day... so basically all of the hours that DD is awake. It's really tough, and I ended up getting treatment for postpartum depression partly b/c it is SO incredibly difficult to be a "single" mom. I am due August 31 and my husband LIVES and WORKS 80 miles away during the week. I am praying things will be okay with being home alone with baby all week while I am on maternity leave...and things going even worse when I go back to work six weeks later--then working and alone with a baby at night. Now that I know how hard it is to raise a child, I can't even imagine doing it by myself! I'm glad my husband doesn't travel much cause I can't imagine doing it all. DH can't pick up LO for 4-6 weeks, and he's not feeling his best because he's recovering from surgery, so it's all me. It's only been 2 weeks and I'm going crazy- I'm soooooo tired. How do you do it? </p>
