Then when we moved continents we always stayed home since there was nowhere to go. I'd like to start up again next year. This year we are going the weekend before Christmas. They aren't happy that we aren't driving down on Christmas Day anymore. But DH and I stopped it last year, saying we want LO to grow up with enjoying Christmas at home and not spending it in the car, which is so depressing.
