@TraceyJoy: I do crossfit which is a total germ factory so maybe I am just immune at this point!

@autumnlove: I totally think being pregnant is contributing to it. My husband is usually sick more than I am and this year I've definitely been sick more than he has been.

@looch: that gives me hope! DS is 18 months and although it's getting better, there's still a LOT that goes into his mouth.

@catlady: ugh, I was sleeping so much better/more before I got pregnant. I get sad looking at my Fitbit in the morning to see my overall sleep and number of times restless, etc. I do nap as much as I can to make up for it!

@hotchildinthecity: before daycare I don't remember being sick at all in three or four years, I attributed it to working from home and doing hot yoga religiously. I'm apparently making up for lost time :) I'm still running/eating healthy but I do miss those intense sweat sessions.

I think the prime sickness period begins when they're putting things in their mouths and ends when they're no longer putting things in their mouths!

We've hardly been sick since my son stopped that behavior.

We must be doing something right because LO hasn't been sick that much and neither of us have been sick either. Maybe we have crazy immune systems from living in the city for so long lol.

We do eat healthy and work out, and try to get a good amount of sleep. We wash our hands but not obsessively.

We struggle with this too. The only things we really do are to keep up a healthy diet (lots of fruits and veggies) and try to get enough sleep. The sleep can be tough when LO is up at night sick, but we try to go to bed early and we've pretty much stopped working out so we can sleep in as late as possible. Also, one of us will usually get LO in the morning (she gets up pretty early) to let the other one sleep a little later. We still get sick pretty often, but usually it's not all three of us at once.

How do you stay healthy with LOs in daycare? My son has been sick since September. Actually just last Thursday I commented he didn't have a runny nose for the first time in a long time, and sure enough the next day he came down with a nasty cold which I inevitably caught.

I wash my own hands a lot but I know I could do a better job at washing his hands religiously. Beyond that, any other advice? Should I add Purell to our routine? I'm SO tired of being sick. This year we've had norovirus twice, pink eye once, and pretty much someone in our house has had a cold since September. I thought it would die down with nicer weather but this is the worst cold yet.

Thanks ladies!!
