Going to donate/give away a ton of toys when DD outgrows these toys because OMG! Thankfully, DS doesn't mind us stowing away 90% of his gifts (that or he doesn't know/fully aware yet - ha!). Easier to put away the baby gear and toys but more difficult to put away the toddler toys. My boys are into different things too. This past Christmas I made sure to donate and return as many toys as possible. Everything that doesn't fit in those baskets goes into the upstairs closet. Every couple weeks or so, we rotate. All the big toys are in the (unfinished) basement playroom but we prefer to hang out in the living room during the winter. We are looking into donating to a local children's hospital and/or woman's shelter. (Most of our local friends have children older than us).</p> <p>How do you keep the mass that is toys at bay in your household? </p>
