I roast or sautee fresh veggies. More often than not, we're eating steam bags of veggies, though so those are just steamed, no seasoning. Bland, boring.

Roast the root veggies. A quick steam or boil and then saute in oil, or a butter-balsamic vinegar combo.

I mostly roast or sautee. I do steam from time to time, asparagus comes to mind, but then I make a dipping sauce, otherwise it's too plain for my taste.

I just put a small amount of water in a ceramic serving bowl and then toss in the veggies and cover with saran wrap and microwave for 2-3 minutes. We just use a slotted spoon to serve and don't add anything else. If it's more than just our little family, then I use a steamer basket in a pot with lid.

We do a lot of the Steamfresh veggies. We both work and it's just so easy/quick. Our favorite one is an asian medley and they're already seasoned, so we usually don't add anything.

DH and I both prefer most veggies raw, but I steam them for LO and we've been eating them too lately.

All kinds of ways. i'll steam them and eat them plain or with a smidge of butter. I'll roast them but that takes longer and sometimes I don't have 45 min. Lately, I've been using my dutch oven to quick saute them. Tonight we're having asparagus! I also like olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and a quick pour of balsamic vinegar

I roast things like asparagus, sweet potatoes, string beans, broccoli. I like to saute zucchini with a little garlic, oil and tomato paste.

When I posted a similar question recently, I said that I usually roast my veggies in the oven. Many said that you steam. Do you add anything to them once they're steamed?

I don't steam my veggies so interested in hearing!

I typically roast my veggies at high heat (425) in the oven. Olive oil, salt, pepper, and sometimes garlic. Works for broccoli, brussels sprouts, sweet potato, carrots and cauliflower.

I saute asparagus and mushrooms in butter on the stovetop. And I also saute broccoli and cauliflower stir-fry style with soy sauce.
