I create my own little magazine cover that always features a hand drawn sketch of him and then some headlines that reference things that happened in his life the previous year. "Man, 58, retires from work at ______" "Grandad of the year welcomes 6th grandchild", etc, etc. Then I just wrap up the 'cover' as his gift and inside I write, please enjoy another year of MacLean's magazine!
