@boiledpnut: Yes! The dog was SUPER clingy when I was pregnant and then after the baby arrived she acted out quite a bit - the worst being when she peed on LO's very difficult to clean, shaggy rug :(

We have 3 cats. Two of them pretty much ignore DS. The third follows us from room to room, head butts DS (it's a sign of affection), and looks concerned and meows when he cries.

Did y'all have any issues feeling like your dog wasn't getting enough attention?

My English bulldog, Phyllis, veers from being jealous to slightly interested to being super protective. Honestly, as LO is only a little over 4 months old, I think she's still coming to terms with the fact that she is no longer the only baby in the household. That said, much like your dogs, I am sure she will be a much happier dog when LO starts to eat (and share) solids.

I really hope our dog is like that! He's quite demanding when it comes to attention, so hopefully he won't get too jealous.

Our dogs love LO to peices, especially now that were doing BLW. Here is a snap I took tonight of Leah our female helping LO finish off the bits of dinner she dropped in her lap. Doesn't even wait for it to hit the floor!!
