My biggest struggle was how to load things back into the car. I usually put her back first, then unload the groceries, then lock the car while I put the cart back, then off we go. She almost always fell asleep on the drive to the market, or was just happy to be chilling. We were really confused the first time we tried to go grocery shopping and she wouldn't fit in the front, and took up the entire back of the cart. I have worn him in the Ergo a couple times but sometimes it can be hard to grab stuff on the bottom shelf.
