I always wondered the same thing! My son used to love being rocked to sleep while standing, but the second I sit on a bouncy ball (while maintaining the same rocking motion) he'd have a fit. His eyes are closed, it is dark, he is trying to go to sleep, but it's like he is saying "oh mom, you're comfortable? To spite you, I'm not, so stand up. And bouncing me with your arms is not going to work. You must bounce on the ball."<br /> Positive side- my arms and quads have never looked better. </p>
