My baby isn’t as much of a boob man(in fact I am weaning him now - where as my first nurses until 2.5) so I am sure that has a lot to do with it. He would smile at me, but continue playing with toys or his friends. I looked at it as we made a good choice in daycare since he was clearly very happy. I think it has a lot do with LO1 was my whole world (and vice versa) when he was young. I did 90% of his care and gave him a lot of undivided attention. LO2 never got that. My husband takes a more equal part in his care, and my time is split between two kiddos. So he's glad to see me but it's not as intense. My first use to run to me - I remember saying I felt like a celebrity when I walked into the room with him. Oliver - he will smile and maybe come to me, but the second I pick him up he immediately starts pointing at where he wants me to take him. Like there is no real re-connection.. I am concerned we aren't bonded </p>
