No shoes are allowed in the infant room - they have blue disposable booties outside the infant room door.

The other rooms allow outdoor shoes (toddler, pre-k, etc)

Shoes are allowed. Their is a huge sticky mat outside the infant room, so it grabs the dirt.

Everyone takes their shoes off at the door, or if you want to wear your shoes you have to wear booties.

Only in the baby room...The caregivers wear slippers in the room. In the 18-24 month room the kiddies need indoor and outdoor shoes but the teachers don't change shoes. After that, the kids dont need two pairs.

There are no shoes allowed inside the actual kiddos rooms,. There are shoe racks outside the door to each room where everyone, teachers, parents and kids leave their shoes.

Ours uses the hospital booties.. All adults put them on upon entrance. Some teachers use booties to enter and then change into those fuzzy socks with grippy soles. I imagine the booties get costly and are rather wasteful but I visited another daycare that just enforces shoe-removal and it smelled of feet/dirty socks (among many other issues though... don't think they did a good job of vacuuming/cleaning in general).

LO's daycare has a no shoes policy, so everyone usually takes off their shoes before going into the main area.

But i notice all the caregivers walk through the daycare in their shoes/boots, and then change into their shoes once they are INSIDE the room. Also, it's not like they change their shoes when they're going in and out from their walks.

Would you be annoyed? How does your daycare's shoe policy work?

(eta: oops, i meant outdoor shoes!)
