@Freckles: Maybe the daycare told that to the mom so that she WOULD take him out!

I have no idea how my daycare deals with kids like that...I should find out. Who knows, it could be my kid! :(

This is a hard topic for me, because we are at an in home daycare and there is only one aggressive child. This one aggressive child happens to be my BFF's daughter and my Goddaughter.

She has caused 2 children to leave due to biting/aggressive behavior. She's a favorite of our daycare ladies and a close family friend so she will never be asked to leave. She has been better lately, but I was very worried for awhile that she would attack my child (she was biting those taking attention away from her...aka the younger children.) It was a very difficult time, but she has seem (figners crossed) to outgrow it.

Ours does not deal with them very well. One mom was told that she should consider a day home and was accused of spoiling her kid at home. Another mom was told that the snacks she packs are too high in sugar which is causing her kid to be out of control.

The latter mom ended up taking her kid out of daycare, and i hate to say that i was really relieved because all the other kids were scared of him. LO was always screaming to leave daycare when i went to pick her up and as soon as he left she was soo calm and relaxed! It makes me wonder how long she would've been that way had he still attended the daycare!
