In one bathroom DD does the same as Charlie, in the other I have to lift her up to the sink. I want to get some 2-step stools so DD can get herself up onto the toilet (she refused to use the potty chair so we bought the potty seats that fit on the regular toilet; therefore I have to lift her up onto the toilet every time she wants to go and at almost 30w pregnant it is getting a bit much) and the sink but our bathrooms just aren't big enough.

We use a step stool next to the sink plus this faucet extender. (Links below) It works great!

DD uses a kids' step stool to access the toilet, then she drags it over to the sink to wash her hands. If I'm with her, though, I just pick her up and sit her on the counter to wash her hands (like in the kitchen); it's so much easier that way.

the LO I nanny has a white two-step stool. it's wooden and doesn't move around..I think because it's partly on the little throw rug.

We have a bunch of high step stools from Ikea. They are great and don't slip around the floor, very stable.

Our toilet is next to the bathroom sink, so Charlie clambers on top of that and then leans over to wash his hands. It's not a safe setup, and I get really nervous about it! I am there with him every time he does it, but I worry that he'll sneak in there without me!

I'd love to have one of those learning towers, but we don't have room in the bathroom for that...
