Mornings -- she plays or whines until we go in there and gives us the biggest smile.

Naps - hit or miss, sometimes crabby and sometimes happy!

She's almost 8 weeks so it's sometimes crying but oftentimes she actually wakes up and just stares at her mobile and looks around her room. She smiles when I come in!

Both of my kids wake up pretty cheerfully. My daughter likes to babble in her crib for 20 minutes before she starts fussing to come out. My son wakes up super eager to start the day. He'll come charging into my room with a big smile on his face. Wish I could wake up like that every morning!

He's 26 months. Sometimes he wakes up pissy, sometimes he wakes up and talks to himself (he'll sing, babble, list the names of everyone he knows, etc.) and when we go get him he thinks everything is hilarious.

At only 9 weeks old she tends to be pretty pissed if we don't come soon after hearing her so usually it's cries but sometimes she just coos to her mobile.

Most of the time, happy and babbling and bouncing off the walls. When she wakes up grumpy, she wakes up hysterically screaming. Thank god it's not often.
