He likes it and will do tummy time for quite a while. There will be the odd time when he is grumpy and wants up right away.

She tolerated it until two months when she started loving it. In the beginning, she could stand a lot more tummy time if we did it on the boppy. Now at four and a half months she chooses to be on her belly and rolls from her back every time I put her down.

At 3 months the kiddo is not a fan. I just let him lie on me though and then it's a bit better.

She hated it! She liked laying on her belly when she was on top of one of us though, so to be honest, that was really the only tummy time we did. Maybe a minute or two on the floor a few times per week, but that was about it. I wasn't too fussed to be honest - I knew she would sit up on her own and eventually crawl, whether I forced tummy time or not, so I didn't worry about it too much. Sure enough, LO sat up independently consistently at 7.5 months and crawled at 9.5 months.

She will do it for a couple minutes and then she is crying and done. She does it better if I lay right in front of her and talk to her.

She likes it well enough. She's usually fine for about 6 or 7 minutes at a time and then she gets grunty. It helps to put a toy or mirror in front of them. Lately I put her on her tummy while I get ready in the morning and she likes to watch me walk around the room. I think it helps to distract them from the fact that they're a bit uncomfortable.

Hates it with a fiery passion. Like, even if he's in the greatest, "just had a great nap and ate," playful mood, it will ruin his mood and make him a moody mess until I feed him or put him down again. Really hates it.

I usually don't even do it on the weekends and just let daycare deal with it during the week, but I'm wondering if my not doing it is a detriment to him. He's 15 weeks and still doesn't seem anywhere close to rolling over, and still isn't pushing up onto his arms... I know all babies are different, but I'm getting antsy!

She hated it so much for such a long time! It started getting easier and she could do it more and obviously that made her stronger. Now she rolls onto her tummy to sleep. I never thought I'd see that!

He used to hate it! Now he loves it. I would say it started to turn around 5 months. He could roll back and forth by that point, but he still hated being on his belly. Then all of a sudden, he started flipping and then sleeping on his belly. Now at almost 8 months he prefers it.

He wasn't a big fan until he could flip himself like others have said. I tried to make it as entertaining as possible though, he loved being on the couch or bed looking down at me. We have video of him trying to lift and turn his head the other way... Whi h is crazy bc now he's about to crawl!

My daughter hates it and she'll be 2 months on Sunday. I carry/wear her a lot so she's got great head control though so I'm not as diligent with tummy time as I probably should be

P HATED it!... her solution was to start rolling belly to back at 2 weeks old literally as soon as I'd lay her down for tummy time!

mine didn't mind it, strangely enough..she would just lay her head down and chill. if she was holding herself up, she was annoyed. and once she got old enough that she wanted toys and couldn't get to them cause she was stuck on her belly, that also annoyed her.

My son hated it too. He would scream and cry and get super frustrated. He eventually started enjoying it more once it was a little easier to get his head off the ground. My DD loved tummy time from the beginning. She's pretty strong willed though. lol

He hated it. Now he doesn't mind it b/c he can flip onto his tummy from his back (He's 7 months). I really think most don't enjoy it until they can flip onto their tummy on their own. I didn't really push it before. he would manage about 5 minutes at a time.

Mine hated it too, until he was around 3.5 months old and could suddenly flip from his back to his tummy all on his own, and then he loved it. Before that, I would do it for 5 minutes at a time once or twice an hour (when he was awake, obviously).
