@artbee: The daycare is in an extremely convenient location (and we'd be getting a deal) with no added work for a family member (who actually wants to watch lo, at least p/t) or DH (who works 12 hr shifts but gets a lot of OT.)

@googly-eyes: Yes I agree it's not fun when your LO isn't happy. Is there a reason that you wouldn't go with your other childcare option? Any cons to it?

@artbee: Idk if it's because she also had a tummyache but lo was absolutely inconsolable the other night. Like just screeching. She hasn't really been that way since she was a newborn. (Still "only" lasted an hour but driving her to sleep while she cries and screams is not the plan...)

My LO is pretty good sick..... but she's not in daycare and doesn't get sick often. She usually sleeps pretty good and still wants to play.

If I put dd in daycare will I be literally getting NO sleep? She had a terrible beginning of the night over a mild cold this past week... (It was her first cold ever.)

We have a good routine going and I'm nervous that I won't be able to handle starting a pretty active job with a constantly sick baby. I have another child care option and I'm thinking of going that route.

So that brings me to my question... Is your lo consolable during illnesses?
