Sometimes she will cut veggies with a butter knife or if I have extra time I let her use a real knife with my help. That is very very rare though. She gets out ingredients (unless they are heavy or eggs), pours, mixes, cracks eggs, sprays the pan, rolls out or kneads dough etc. I will let her do basically anything that doesn't involve heat or a knife. She usually makes a gigantic mess but oh well. And she just picked up my list writing. She goes on my phone app and writes/deletes whatever we need her to. He chops with a crinkle cutter when I'm prepping vegetables. He stirs and helps measure and pour ingredients. He gets out pans for me. He puts muffin liners in the pans and when I'm feeling really patient I let him scoop the muffin batter too (he's actually pretty neat). We let him stir stuff in the frying pan (as long is there is no hot grease).
