5 weeks until forever it felt like. People told me I'd feel better at 12-13 weeks but that was so not true for me!

My morning sickness started at 4w1d, which is freakishly early but I'm 100% sure of my dates since I was charting. I've always been VERY sensitive to hormonal changes though. It tapered off significantly around 9-10 weeks, which was nice.

I'm at 4 weeks too! I think everyone is different. I have friends who had ms from the very beginning. I think it's most common around 6-10 weeks. Right now I'm experiencing some fatigue, very mild nausea and a strange metallic smell/taste for the last few days.

It sounds to me like you were just hungry and/or dehydrated. I think eating/drinking often when you're pregnant is even more important than when you're not, and I've definitely had those symptoms you're describing even when I wasn't pregnant and they were usually because I hadn't eaten recently and may have been dehydrated.

But I'm no expert! I have no idea if m/s can start earlier than 6 weeks or not. Mine started right at 6 weeks.

I am only in my 4th week. I know morning sickness typically doesn't start until the 6th week. Symptom-wise all i've had this week is fatigue and tender breasts, but I just got hit with a wave of nausea. I didn't eat much for breakfast, and at about 10:30, I atarted feeling queasy and my mouth started salivating in that "I'm about to throw up" way. I happened to be in a baby store, so I bought some preggie pops and took one. I don't feel so bad now, just a little queasy (and still hungry).

Is this morning sickness starting or just a fluke? If it helps in your answer, I'm hoping fluke! Not quite ready mentally for m/s...
