I use the gummy prenatal vitamins because they are one of the few that don't have any additional iron. My doctor said that if there was any chance I could get pregnant, I should already be taking a vitamin because by the time you see the double line, your body is already starting to draw on its reserves of things like folic acid. We weren't trying yet at that point, but I knew that it was technically possible for me to get pregnant so I started taking them.</p> <p>Oh, and I'm terrible about remembering so I have a reminder set up on my phone...and I STILL sometimes put it off if I'm busy then, and then forget for that day. I was glad I did because my OB advised that there are added benefits to taking them prior to conceiving, I believe it was autism related. I don't recall exactly what she said but just took from it early prenatals = better. </p>
