I'm now at 27 weeks, and we have the room mostly cleared out, a rug and wall decor purchased/obtained, a changing table and crib ordered but won't be delivered for ages (loooong story about PBK delivery fiasco!), and a glider picked out on our registry but not bought yet (prob won't be gifted it so we'll buy it later with our completion discount). so basically, the nursery is on it's way but won't actually be ready for quite awhile! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/how-early-did-you-start-working-on-a-nursery#post-1364789 Tue, 21 Jan 2014 15:43:08 +0000 Torchwood 1364789@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>We decided what nursery we wanted a while back, though that's all a little complicated since I've had two m/c's, so we were discussing things well before this (hopefully sticky) pregnancy. I guess technically I've started working on it at 7 weeks, because I'm already working on a blanket for it. But we're looking for a house now, so we won't be doing any official getting started until we have a house. Then we didn't start painting until after 30 weeks. Got the furniture setup around 35 weeks. Once we found out it was a boy I really started picking out specifics like paint, etc. I made his blanket and burp cloths when I was around 28 weeks and my husband just started painting this past weekend (31 weeks). I would have liked to start sooner but DH replaced our floors in December and the baby's room was a big storage room for us so we had to spend a lot of time cleaning it out.
