I guess throwing more parties over time has helped me be more efficient at it! But yeah, I do like to think about it in my head for months in advance. DD 1 and I talk all the time too about what she wants to do for her next birthday party. But DH likes to include EVERYONE and thinks that family means all aunts and uncles, not just LO's but ours too, and he also wants close friends..... and all of those people add up! I was planning in my head before she was born though. </p> <p>She's 14 months old and I've already started buying for her next party.... but if I switch themes I'll be able to use the decorations for something else.
