She also informed me DD2 is to be a lightening bug (18 months old) so I need to figure out that costume. Two weeks before? The beginning of October? Mid September? Any day now?</p> <p>Two years ago, LO decided two days before Halloween that she wanted to be a bat when I'd already bought her a butterfly costume. She was so adamant and I found one for very little $$, so Amazon Prime saved the day. Last year, she picked a costume maybe 1 month or 3 weeks ahead, and didn't change her mind.</p> <p>This year, DD1 has come up with a VERY SPECIFIC costume she'd like to wear (meaning....weird, nonsensical, creative, and won't be able to get something right off the rack - I'll need to modify a purchased costume, and even the purchased part is kind of a rare find). She's pretty serious about it and has mentioned it for a few weeks now. I'm considering just biting the bullet and buying it - I'm 32 wks pregnant with baby #3 and feel like it's definitely possible baby will be here before Halloween, so I'd kind of like to have things taken care of. </p>
