Exhausted! I work FT and am 28 weeks pregnant with a 3.5 year old. I can barely move once she's in bed.

Tired! I always get big plans in my head for the things I'm going to do one LO goes to sleep, but after she goes down and I do the dishes and clean up her toys most of the time I just veg out :bummed: Around Christmastime I was getting good at forcing myself to start a project or task and it would snowball into actually being productive - I need to do that again!

I've been off sick from work for three months, while my LO continued to go to daycare/inlaws. I've actually been functioning in the evenings for a few weeks now and it has emphasised just how utterly exhausted I've been for the last year or so. Its not just a physical tiredness, its a feeling of complete burnout by the time I've gotten E into bed.

I stay at home with a 6 month old and a 4 year old who is in preschool, and I usually have energy left over to exercise in the evenings. It's hard because the baby is up a ton, then I'm tired, but if I'm too tired to exercise then I'm just more tired the next day.

@mrsjyw: I curse that second wind!!!!

Lately I've been more tired since the baby has been sick so he isn't sleeping well. And that means he's been sleeping in our bed. I really don't like cosleeping. It doesn't work for our family so I'm hoping this is a temporary thing.

I've been on leave for a few months and I can usually sort of stay awake after the kids are in bed. At least, awake enough to sit with DH doing something mindless. When I'm working, half an hour in a dark room putting them to bed, and I'm done... I can't keep my own eyes open.

I WAH...and I can barely move by 8 pm. But then there's clean up from dinner, lunches to make, and I shower at night. I try to be in bed by 9:30 and get 30 minutes to relax before going to bed. My kids wake up at night and/or rise early, so I have to be asleep by 10.

I usually have an iced coffee in the afternoon, and prep most of dinner then. that way once DS is in bed, I can clean up his playroom, start dinner, and then relax on the couch- i'm tired (would be too tired to go out unless i had to) but awake enough to hang with DH for a few hours.

I'm a SAHM and, unless I'm sick, I'm usually okay. I tend to relax on the couch a bit and finish up some dishes / tidying the house once DD is in bed and then read for a bit before going to bed myself.

Exhausted. Putting the kids to bed makes me SO tired, I often fall aslee then too. Forget getting anything done after that. I just started back to work 2 weeks ago and find I can only make it through the evening if I have a cappuccino at 3ish.

So freaking tired. Like totally absolutely spent and burnt out. But I'm staying home with a 2 year old and 1 month old so I think that's somewhat expected with a newborn. And DH has been working crappy hours so I end up doing bedtime alone some of the days.

At least I can have a glass of wine now!

If you stay at home or work, how tired are you at the end of the day from parenting or working and parenting? What about your SO?

I stay home and usually I'm ok by the time the girls are in bed to relax and do my own thing, watch TV...whatever as long as it's low key. This past week I've been super tired and not in the mood to do anything but sleep. DH had to work all day today but he said he was good with hanging out with them and putting them to bed if I wanted to relax..so that's exactly what I'm doing! I have been sick, so I'm sure that's contributing.
