But my hospital did something new for my second and they determined that I had GD from a blood panel at my 6-7 week appointment. I thought it was typical to have it around 26-28 weeks, yes? I ask because my next appt. is at 26 weeks and the midwife didn't mention anything about it. </p> <p>That's fine by me as I never had with one my last pregnancy (with a homebirth midwife) and would actually like to avoid it for this pregnancy, but this is a new midwife/OB practice for me and I thought they did them. </p>
