We told close family at 12 weeks, close friends weeks 13-15, some family at week 16. DH e-mailed many of his friends who all tend to live far away from us at 16 weeks. Some friends still don't know, but I wanted to tell them in person, and I'll be visiting them this weekend. I'm a worrier by nature. Everyone around me was excited, and it was so hard for me to be. I didn't want to put the nursery together, buy things for the baby, etc. All of those milestones, steps, etc. just freaked me out.
