I'm also a freak, so don't go by me! We are waiting until we find out the gender to finish up picking artwork and curtains, but we have the walls painted, the furniture in, a rug, and some art up. We don't have the bathroom anywhere close to done though; DH is painting it this weekend and I need to decide on a theme! Nothing has changed since then. I bought some wall decor, haven't put it up yet and I still plan to get a few more things. Baby slept in our room until about 4.5 months old, in which time a whole bunch of crap wound up in the nursery that 3 months later I still have to pick up! But, I had my shower a day before 34 weeks (last Sunday) and I finished up shopping for her this week. Everything is assembled and almost everything has a place. The carseat is going into dh's truck this weekend. Granted we just closed on a house last weekend and we are moving tomorrow. So Sunday DH will put the crib together and we will start unpacking shower gifts and figure out what we have and don't have yet. If it the nursery isn't finished when she comes, that is ok, she will be in our room anyway. I know everything I want to do to it - now its just execution! I'm worried that we've gotten a late start since we're doing a board and batten treatment on the walls and I'm sewing the crib bedding myself. In the grand scheme of things, I know it doesn't really matter since baby will be in our room for several months, but I'd still love to finish it. First time mama problems :) When did you finish your LO's nursery?
