My insurance wouldn't cover it because I'm only 30 and low-risk (they'd cover it if I was over 35 or higher risk of having a child with a genetic disorder). We opted to find out at 34 weeks, I'm glad we did because after a brutal 43 hour induction and failed epi I was just happy we were both ok.
